    Have you seen the christmas tree in Bray? Its looks like a traffic cone.... Wheres the real christmas tree they always had ?? Does look pretty though - even if it does look like a traffic cone lol

    Don't mind the tree but am I the only one that misses the tacky multicoloured lights that used to be hanging between all the shops?

    Btw I love the treee it is 1000 times better than the one in dunlaoghaire.

    Havent noticed the tree but I do miss the lights,especially the ones that were on the church.

    Retailers were today asked too fork out 370 quid each to pay for them
    They took the liberty in providing an invoice

    Just read in the paper that the tree cost over 2000 euro and was bought in Poland! Nice to see the council supporting the Irish trade:rolleyes:

    it's a real kick in the face to the Shop Local campaign. i am absolutely disgusted with our town council. forking out such an amount to a foreign supplier, when they could have sourced a beautiful real tree from their very own county. as mentioned, it looks like a traffic cone - an awful tree and a symbol of hypocrisy!

    I must say I posted the above before I knew they forked out 2k in poland for it. now not so in love with said tree.
