    Hi,

This is strange. The same thing has happened now with two companies.

First I went and did two interviews for a pricing position with with a US bank , then I was told that they would be very interested in interviewing me for the position of Senior Trading Liaison. Its been nearly 6 weeks since I did that interview, which was on a phone on a loudspeaker because the hiring managers were in the wrong building, I emailed them four weeks ago and they said they were still in the first round interviewing stage. So I left it at that.

I was interviewed for a fund accountant role with a different US bank this week and just received an email asking if I would be interested in going for an investment operations specialist role. Its getting quite frustrating at this stage. I've been out of work nearly ten months and my dole will be gone soon. Whats going on with these interviews?

    much better.

They are probably as frustrated as you with getting staff signed off. I can take a long time in a company with a difficult HR dept.
