    I need help folks!
    Yesterday I turned on my Ps3 but it said "cannot start.cannot find hard disk"
    Then i tried a few solutions on the internet but nothing worked. Then the screen went black as in when i turn the ps3 on the screen stays black!
    Anyone know what to do?

    give console repairs ireland a call. they should be able to help you.

    btw was it a slim ? ,and did you try "re-seating" the hard drive ?

    no its one of the old ps3s 60ggb. I'll try removing the Hd and putting it back in but i dont think it wil work.
    Should i get a new HD?

    That error code always comes up for me, yet I never have to do anymore than just power it on or off...My console is a launch one aswell with 320gb hard drive..Did you try holding the power button untill it beeps twice??...

    yeah and since i tried doing that all i have is a black screen. Where are console repairs ireland? is there anyone in galway who could fix it?
