Hi,

I have been reliably informed that my local grant office has made a huge mistake when calculating my reckonable income. Unfortunately I cannot go into detail for personal reasons but I can say that they got it wrong!! Incredibly wrong!

They are human and they do make mistakes!! Though this is the second time that they have made a mistake that I am aware of with just myself alone!!

If you are in any doubt please APPEAL their decision to them or a higher authority. It is worth it. Its unfortunate that these mistakes are happening on such a regular basis. I know if I was working for a company and I made those kind of mistakes I would be let go....

I dont know why the grant people can get away with so many mistakes...I feel so sorry for students who have been wrongly refused a grant like myself.
