I am looking to upgrade the hard disk of my laptop which is Dell Latitude D630.

I was wondering will this fit and work into the laptop.

Is the price ok for this or any other better value available?

    take a look here

    http://www.komplett.ie/k/kl.aspx?bn=10614

and decide what best fits your budget for what capacity, they used actually have about a month back a 1TB hard drive on there for €80 but it seems to be gone now. i bought two WD Scorpio 500GB hard driives on there for €95 each about six months back and they're now gone down to €71.

i'd also suggest you make a recovery disk and maybe buy an external caddy so you can still make use of the 80GB hard drive as an external hard drive.

You're looking for a 2.5" SATA so the one in the link will be fine. Its a good drive.

Your interface might only be 1.5GB/s (id have to google to find out) but it doesnt really matter. The SATA-300 drive you linked will work anyway.
