Thank you for the link, just ordered a set. This series cannot be beaten. It gets a BUY from me and is an absolute BARGAIN.

DISCLAIMER: I have nothing to do with any of this, I am just a consumer who thinks this is the definitive series on WW2 for the reasons mentioned above by ollaetta, who hits the proverbial nail on the... you know what I mean..

It is a bargain and an excellent series. But be careful, my wife bought it for me as a present and it wouldn't play on my DVD player which was pretty much state of the art and multi regional. I tried it on another DVD player with the same result. We returned it and got another copy with the same result. Eventually we got our money back. It was very disappointing.

It was always obvious that we weren't alone as the shop seemed to have several returned sets behind the counter.

Even when I tried to play it on the PC, it had problems.

Just to warn you, it may be play perfectly on your player. But it may not.

You'll need a multi region dvd player or search your model player online and see if it can be manually set up that way as alot of them can or get a cheap as buttons multi region player in walmart and you'll be right

Just received this today from the website mentioned above. It's labelled region 0, which should mean it will play in any DVD player worldwide.

FWIW, it plays no problem in my Panasonic Blu-Ray player and in an eight year old region 2 Pioneer DVD machine.

great show,really detailed,i havent seen it in a while so im open for correction,it was made in 1973 and lord mountbatten made an appearance in the show giving an eye witness account
