Bigger and heavier than the SLR but before the SLR came along this was probably Selle's flagship saddle. I had one and liked it. Comfy as saddle as I ever had. But saddles are subjective... so opinions are not all that relevant. I went for the SLR because I am a weightweenie, but the flite was a nicer saddle to sit on.

+1 on the above.Had a Flite on my last bike, an SLR on my current steed. Both very very comfortable.:)

    +2 (:) )

Have a Flite on one bike and an Arione on the other.

I get on with both fine. Though the Arione edges it for rides over 3 hours. Only just (a good bib short could probably negate that difference though)

Saddles are/can be very subjective. They are one thing you really do have to try out.

For reviews: www.roadbikereview.com and www.mtbr.com are good starts though.

In its day the Flite was THE lightweight saddle....now....

If you're thinking of buying one, I have the Flite Team Edition http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=25466 which I'm thinking of selling. I've only ridden on it two or three times so its virtually brand new. It is very light and is comfortable but I think I've just got too used to the Specialized BG saddles so will revert back to them. pm me if interested.
