    Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good chiropractor in cork city? My lower back is making a clicking noise and I think its about time I got it checked out.

    Thanks in advance!

Jim Cosgrave is an excellent chiropractor - very well respected and was the president of the Chiropractic Association of Ireland a few years ago. He's in the city centre.

    thanks

    Hi cate3may,

I didn't end up going to a chiropractor at all.

A friend with very similar problems pointed me in the direction of a physio (http://www.thephysiocentre.ie/). They have clinics in Douglas and Glanmire (in Cork).

One of the guys there has a special interest in back and posture - they should be able to help you out if your problem is back related.

My problem eventually went from the odd clicking noise to lower back pain in the morning and driving. They correctly pointed out that I had tight hip flexors and weak abs/glutes.

    Hope this helps.
