I won meself two tickets to this little belter, am like a kid in a sweet shop, can't wait:)

Just applied online like everyone else and was lucky I s'pose.Apparently about 7 times more people applied than tickets were available.

Lineup is Florence and The Machine, Lisa Hannigan, Magic Numbers, Villagers and loads more, should be deadly.

Am heading down from Dublin for a little overnighter with a good friend, happy days:cool:

    Anybody else going along?

Oh God I'm so jealous!! Applied for tickets for this, but wasn't lucky:(

Would have loved, loved, loved to see The Magic Numbers, even more so than Florence tbh...... Saw her at Electric Picnic, and she was brilliant, but The Magic Numbers are one of my favourite bands and I'v never seen them live *sob*

Keeping my fingers crossed that I might be lucky and get one of the re-issued tickets Saturday evening.... (If people don't show up, they are offering the unclaimed tickets via text to a lucky few)

    Have a blast JCDUB*

*and if you need someone to go with you, I'm 5" 4, I'v blonde hair, blue eyes and I'm an absolute lasher lol:D:D

I too was unfortunate and didn't get tickets to this event. If it's at all possible that someone on here has a spare ticket or cant go, I'd really really appreciate the ticket. Cheers!

I'm going and i cant wait......Is it just me or is it only guys that got tickets. Out of 24 people i asked who were registered 9 out of 10 guys got tickets yet none of my female friends did - 14 registered I only know one girl that got tickets so the ticket allocation just seems a little bit biased. I was lucky though I got tickets but under a male alias as I had registered for a friend for a previous murphys event using my email same thing happened my freind she registered as Martin instead of Martina and she got a ticket - just think the ticket allocation is a bit weird.

Just wondering has anyone else had the same experience or is it just a freak coincidence?

I know one girl and one guy that won tickets. Out of about 25 people that registered. Dose, but seems pretty unbiased :p

So, anyone that was at this last night, how did it go? Was it as fantastic as I imagine it was?

Was on such a downer last night, sitting in my local pub, wishing I was there.....:(

I'm not sure if it'll be any consolation to you but it was fantastic. I was tempted to head to Belfast today to see her again.

    Here's some photos

Sorry to post this up but I'm aware that Lisa has quite a following so rather than start a new thread or anything I'll pop this in here...

I actually had a dislike for Lisa Hannigan before I went to the gig, and had intended on missing most of her set by going to the other stage. However, she is -much- better live than on the radio, her personality is infectious, and I guess one thing you don't get from the radio is the talent aspect - she played pretty much a new instrument every song, from xylophone to banjo. I'm glad my mind has been changed!
