    Hey guys

    i was just wondering if a company shows a movie to the public without the proper permissions can the directors be held financially responsible in terms of personally. If there is any fines can the directors be held to pay those personally.

    Can you please answers fast, my mate fears he may be in big trouble and his worrying alot

    Section 12 Copyright Act they can be held criminally responsible.

    If suing for infringement you can sue the directors directly if they were the ones who put on the performance. If they committed the tort (which is what copyright infringement is), the fact they have a company incorporated who is selling tickets to the event is irrelevent.
