multiple psn accounts

    i have a psn account. its good.
    i would like to set up a second account from the one console.
    if i do this, can two people play online from the one console.
    any help appreciated.

    I doubt it. How would you manage with only one tv?

    Or do you not mean at the same time?

    You can't do this offically as its not supported by Sony.
    The only game that does something like this is LittleBigPlanet but it does this through a hack.

    Borderlands will let you play split screen, and you dont need a seperate psn account same as little big planet...really depends on the game, But if your asking in general, no two people can't play online from the one console at the same time.

    borderlands and resistance 2 allows this, however player 2 gains no xp on resistance but on borderlands it works away fine.

    If you want split screen then the game itself has to be able handle it.
    ie CO-OP games etc...CO-OP Games Link

    You don't need another account. Another account is for example if two people want to play a game and have their own save points or friends etc.
