    Hi guys
I signed on for a week in August (JSB) before getting a job and thus signed off. Now however I need to sign on again unfortunately. Do I go right back to the start and lodge a 'fresh' claim (fill out all the stuff again in the welfare office etc.) or do I just go back to the existing claims section? I just want to make sure I am queueing in the right place!
    Thanks

You will have to claim again afresh unfortunately. I asked about something similar recently, I was on JSB and wanted to sign off for two weeks then back on again for short-term work. They wouldn't let me, even for such a short space of time I would have to lodge a fresh claim. Check to confirm but pretty sure thats it. No way would they keep it open for over four months as in your case. Good luck with it and try get your claim in ahead of the budget next week.
