    Allo!

I was wondering is it better to get a laptop on the run up to christmas, or after the christmas?

Are the offers good now, or will the reductions after christmas be better?

    Thanks.

You can get some very good deals on Vista Laptops right now, with much better specs than Windows 7 laptops that can be 150 euro more expensive. They all come with free upgrades to Windows 7 too so you can be laughing!

    Best wait till after xmas.

But pick your 2 or 3 models now and price them. That way when the "sales" are on you should know if you are getting a deal or not

I have noticed that the price of laptops seems to have increased in the last few months.
    A laptop I bought for £280 is now £330 .

Are you sure it's the exact same spec?

Current laptop tech is at a peak right now. Next year you will start to see lots more new technologies. Everything from laptops with dual/collapsable screens to multitouch screens and a surge in one piece tablets and netbooks. Conventional laptops will be around but theyll have competition. The expectation would be that prices on normal laptops may actually continue to go down but not long after these new technologies take root.

    tl;dr, yeah go ahead.
