"Mystery" Overflow Pipe Discharging water

    Hey All,
I hope ye can help or guide me to a solution.
Yesterday I noticed a small copper pipe coming out onto my balcony. It was discharging water at around a drop a second. The problem is that it is leaking down through my balcony and onto my front entrance. With all the frost last nite I thought it would be a deathtrap.
I've checked the main water tank and that is not overflowing so I'm wondering if it is the gas boiler (sometimes that water is slightly warm).
Is there something I can do to fix this or would I be better off getting someone in to look at the whole gas boiler setup?

    Thanks

    HJ

sounds like your pressure relief valve is open slightly.
this can be caused by even a small bit of grit on the seal not allowing it to close the valve off fully, the prv is located or your boiler

Agree it sounds like the pressure valve on your boiler. A plumber should really be called to sort this

It sounds like your expansion vessel could be gone, or the system has been pressurized too high.
