    It's called having the weight of the World on your shoulders.. Look at Tony Blair, his hair went gray before our very eyes from (I'm assuming) stress..

    I'm sure he would have eventually gone gray like most men but it seemed to be accelorated in his case..

    Actually, I was at lunch a couple of weeks ago and Cowen was at the table over. Bizzarely, he looked in relatively good shape. He's lost weight and didn't look quite as pasty as he usually does. Still wanted to fling my plate at him, though.

    Oh, and re the OP: If he had that grin from the first image while announcing troop deployments in Afghanistan, I think we'd all be justified in being very, very frightened.
