In response to another closed thread re bouncers and their kind , i was under the impression that the psa had to approve these people now AND THEY MUST DISPLAY THEIR ID ON THEM> .how many of these clowns do you see in shops , shopping centres without this ???. they seem to have a common trait which i cant mention for fear of offending the PC mods , but any genuine Irish person would be able to see what it is , seems strange that the psa insist on many years of checkable background , bit difficult for these guys when they lost all their paperwork on the way here.
SO if your out and about and accosted by any of these securiy operatives ask them for their licence details , if they dont oblige ,report them .

It's up to a €3000 fine for not displaying badges...

    IDENTITY BADGES

Since the 1st September 2009, all licensed individuals must wear an identity badge at all times while providing a security service. This is a legal reguirement and is set down in section 30 of the Private Security Services Act 2004. Failure to wear a badge may result in you being prosecuted and facing a fine of up to €3,000.

The identity badge must be clearly visible at all times and displayed on the upper torso (above the stomach and below the neck). The following is not acceptable:

    * Hanging the badge from a belt around the waist.
    * Clipping the badge behind a neck tie.
    * Placing the badge in a shirt pocket or jacket pocket.
    * Placing the badge under a jumper or jacket.

Failure to wear the badge in the correct manner may result in your licence being revoked.

Your post smacks of racism OP.

And seeing as you have already had a ban from AHs for racism I am closing your thread.
