Bought house together - split up - Mortgage Interest Relief Situation

    Hi

Bought House with Boyfriend. Lived together for 3 years then split up. He bought me out of house.

Back together and got married. Both living in the same house.

I claimed mortgage interest relief for years together but ceased when we finalised split.

Since I claimed only for 3 years... am I entitled to claim the TRS for a further 4 or backdate it for the last four?

Does it depend if I am on the mortgage? I think it might.

I bought another house when we parted but didn't claim any relief on it as I rented it out.

Anyone been in this situation and if so what was revenue's answer???
Could do with a few bob off the mortgage!!!
