    Hi

Our house is freezing but there's no way we'd manage a solid fuel stove. Is there any warmth out of a gas stove insert? It'd be in a fairly large (for a small house!) open plan room.
Anyone know where to start looking for one and for someone to install it.
    thanks a million
    Much appreciated

    Good point.
The heating is all new, in about three years. Works well.
Pretty much the whole house is open plan though so hoping to help matters in this room.
Anyone actually use gas stove insert?
