Brooches of these style are out of fashion at the moment so your best option would be to sell the coins seperately. are the coins attached to the brooches using clips or are the welded together? if the coin is cliped in it will be easy to take out the coins and it is unlikely they will be damaged, if they are welded in you will have to sell the coin and brooch together as the value of the coin would be alot closer to bullion value than a loose coin in good coindition
best place to sell them would be ebay, quick and easy but the fees are high and it adds up fast on high value items
i know a few people that would buy these coins alright but would have no interest the the brooches

    Hi Anthony
    Thanks for your post!

It looks to me like the coins can be seperated from the brooches and are not welded in

Can you point me in the right direction of someone who might be interested in the coins?
(it looks like teh Ducat is only a 1 ducat and not a 4:( )

I guess the Brooch metal can go to forgottengold or someone like that?

    Thanks in Advance!

I'll send you a pm with a collectors number tomorrow, i wouldnt send anything to forgotten gold or others offering to buy gold unless they give a good price, jewlers are buying 9ct gold in bermingham at £8/€9 per gram which is a fair rate at the moment
