Anyone run an allotment?

    Just wondering can anyone tell me the ins and outs of running an allotment site.

    Eg. how big each allotment site should be, how much to you have to prepare the ground, rental charge (midlands), what's best to fence each individual plot off with etc.

    Plus any other info. I'm looking at the allotment.ie site there's lots of stuff on it but it's a hard site to find the info. you're looking for so thought I'd ask here while I'm trawling through the info. on that site.
