    I'm trying to open ports for steam and MW2. I've done this for other games before, but have gotten stuck...

    Here are the posts I should forward;

    When I get to here in my router setup should I pick...

    trigger_or.png

    and then if I'm entering a range, what should the base host number be? eg if the range is 27000 - 27015 should the base be 27000?

    port range start 27000 end 27015
    basel 27000

    you have to set them to your pcs IP ie 192.168.1.2

    www.portforward.com has a some handy guides for almost every router in the world.

    For the above i would set up one rule for TCP/UDP and range 27000 to 27050 :)

    Thanks, should I be using "trigger ports" or "Port forwarding: range of ports"?
