I bought a leatherman multi tool a few months back and only just got around to opening it up and what i found is that when i put it into its leather pouch the pouch wont close. Just wondering if its possible to stretch the leather or anything??

If you can't close it without damaging the pouch bring it back to the vendor, with receipt if possible. They should sort you out.

I always wear one and have for the last 15 years I have 4 or 5 multitools (Wave, charge, pulse, juice, and a couple of swisstools) for various uses. The leather sheaths are very stiff when new and will loosen out with use and body heat. i sometimes have to wet the leather flap that buttons down with water let it soak in and try again the leather will stretch enough for you to close it with tool inside leave it to dry out but not near to heat after a few days the leather will have taken on the new shape and size of tool.

As that saying goes, Don't leave home without it

I had the same problem. It will loosen out with wear as the leather starts off quite rigid. Sit on the sofa and just fiddle round with it when your watching the telly.....:D THE LEATHER CASE that is.

Good to see the replies - I was pretty sure the same thing happened with mine but not 100%. After seeing some of the above, the memories came flooding back :D
