I want to get in TV and Broadband (no phone line) to the house. I'm new to all this and never had Sky or UPC before. I just want the basic package TV and broadband.

So on the UPC website its giving me TV and 3mb broadband for €47 per month...(multiroom is extra, etc)

Is this good or has anyone any recommendations?

Also there is several TV points in the house, so if I get UPC installed in say living room and kitchen will i get any other channels on the upstairs points?? (someone said something about analog channels...)

€47 sounds pretty good. That sounds like it will give you 3mb bb + TV + Digital+

You could also add phone for just €5 per month and then cancel your Eircom phone line, saving another €20.

As long as your not in Cork, you will get 17 analogue TV channels for free which you can wire into every other room in the house for multiroom. However you would need to do the wiring yourself as it isn't exactly official.

It is digital multiroom which costs an extra €8.50 per room per month.
