    Well Lads,

Thinking of investing in a good pair of glasses and looking at the Oakley Jawbone range mainly cause of the ease which you can change the lenses?? Anybody got any experience with these or can they suggest something else??

    Cheers
    Dave

Just tried them out today - clear lens as you can imagine..

From a functional point of view, I need to wear them more before full comment but they were great at protecting the eyes from the cold air when flying down the mountain trails.

From an aesthetics point of view, I loved the mad look of them when I 1st saw them. Still do. They looked like a multi-coloured version of the 'health board' glasses with the clear lenses in them though :) (modelled here by Jack Duckworth http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/09/16/article-0-038A422E0000044D-143_306x195.jpg).

I'd strongly recommend the photochoromic lenses given the fact you can have all sorts of weather in one day in Ireland. I have the half jacket ones and they're great regardless of the weather.

jwshooter - sent you a PM. Not getting any change out of Oakley Customer Service. Do you think you could send my question onto your contact and get his thoughts?

    Jwshooter,

Is this like a 'contact' contact, or just a contact?
I'm just about to pruchase a pair of M Frames and would be interested in details.

    Thanks

I have the Radar Paths (Livestrong) and they're well cool. Didnt like the look of the Jawbones at first but they are growing on me. The optics are excelent.

I have been looking at these as well.

Do they hold onto water droplets? I need a pair for rain, I have anti-fog glasses but I have to wipe them every few seconds to be able to see.

    140 pounds.

That's only 12 quid cheaper than the link above:)

I'd save some cash, get out to the Oakley factory on Sunday and get some at 40% off retail (possibly around 100 euro) for M-Frame/Half jacket/Enduring and a limited Radar stock
