It was announced today that DREAM and PRIDE veteran Sergei Kharitonov will participate in the K-1 World GP 2009 FINAL’s second reserve fight next week due to Chalid “Die Faust having sustained an injury. Kharitonov’s opponent is none other than the very promising Daniel Ghita.

Ghita impressively won the FINAL16 Qualifying GP this year and he put up a good fight despite losing against Semmy Schilt in the FINAL16 event in Seoul.

Sergei is gonna get SMASHED!! Ghita is ****ing relentless (the fastest ever winner of the K1 GP) and Kharitonov has not looked the same in a long time.
This card is shaping up to be great!

I thought that Ghita looked like a contender this year till he fought Schilt.

And if the worst happens and someone gets injured and he his called in to fight one of the final 8 there are at least 4 in that group that I would love to see him fight, and that would give him a good fight ;)

Yeah, I expected more from that fight alright but Semmy Schilt is no slouch - try saying that pissed! :pac:
