    Hi,

I am interested in getting you opinion on the "best" netbook, i.e. value for money, price, where did you purchase, functionality, usability, and your opinions (i.e. would you recommend it to anyone)....available at the moment.

If you have one, can you share feedback on the product.

I hope to purchase on in the coming weeks and would like to get your views on the vast range of netbooks out there.

There is too much advertising waffle out there, so your insight will be valuable!

    Thanks!

    ;)

Right now if I had to buy one i'd go for the Asus EEEPC 1005HA.

If you asked me again in a few weeks though, the answer might be different. The first Pinetrail netbooks should launch in Jan hopefully. Probably a whole rake of them at once.

Very true - netbooks are going to start getting more powerful (and bigger), and some notebooks are deliberately getting less powerful (with CULV chips etc). And in the coming months there's going to be some even less powerful solutions running Android and ARM CPUs...so called 'smartbooks'.

So there's going to be both great choice for consumers, but also a lot of confusion about 'what will be best for me' etc.
