    All,

This may be a stupid question but I'm a bit green with this stuff so please be gentle!

I have just bought a new tv which is listed as having the following tuners installed

    DVB DVB-T MPEG4*, DVB-C MPEG4*
Tuner bands Hyperband, S-Channel, UHF, VHF

Could I install a dish and connect directly to these to get freesat/free to air tv or will I still require the fta box?

    Cheers
    Whitey

No, it does not include DVB-S. You will need a satellite receiver. Some Panasonic and LG TVs have a Freesat tuner built into them these are always clearly labelled with the Freesat logo. AFAIK they are the only ones.
