Sky HD New Install - couple of questions

    Hi,

    I have SKY+ and herself is pushing for the Sky HD (not complaining) but had a couple of questions.

    1. How long is waiting list for the install these days?
    2. What HD boxes are good these days, any to be avoided?
    3. If I want to get another room cabled just to watch the bbc's and itvs will the install engineer do it for me (I'll pay the extra few bob), some extra parts will be needed as I have an old Sky Box all ready in the bedroom which we use?

    I just rang about the SKY + HD upgrade and was given a date of january 11th!!!!:eek::eek:

    As been said...before list where you are from or look up an independant installer around Limerick whom Im sure can fit it within a week as it takes 5-7 working days to order your viewing card.

    Mine was installed this morning, ordered it 12 days ago. :D
    Samsung box - still has old epg even though instruction book has new graphics, assume it will upgrade itself in time.
    No phone line so had to ring sky to enable - couldn't find a suitable option under the phone menu from the number I rang (came with viewing card) which is the correct option to choose?

    Installer rang a diff number and enabled it anyway, just curious or in case someone else runs into the same problem.
