306 D conversion

    Hey,

    I am looking for some advice from someone who knows the score when it comes to a conversion from a 306 1.9 straight diesel to a 1.9D turbo.

    I bought an 00 1.9D Meridian PUG there a few weeks ago (car/van) and am pretty disappointed with its complete sluggish attitude towards going so have decided I would prefer the hastle of changing out the engine for a Dturbo instead of selling her and buying a d-turbo. (what can i say, I like adventures)

    Only thing is, I havent a clue whats involved. So I was hoping someone here could guide me on (other then the engine) what other parts i may need, approx price's for a mechanic and if anyone could suggest a place to get it done properly, id be most grateful.

    just buy a newer HDI. you're looking at more than the value of the van to convert it to a D-Turbo.

    either buy a newwer one or just throw any hdi in, their all half decent high mpg short life span engines - it isnt rocket science....


    but i do love 306's
