Why can't I find the wieght of the P2 frameset anywhere online? I've tried the Cervelo website and it aint there? I've also googled and looked up loads of other bike shop and review website but to no avail.
    Specifically looking for framesize 54/56.
    Any links would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Somewhere between 3lb (1360g) and 1394g for the frame only.

18.2lbs here, but it doesn't specify what size: http://www.artscyclery.com/descpage-CV9P2CU.html

Apparently Cervelo don't like to specify weight
A penny under three grand gets you the frame that Carlos Sastre piloted to victory in the 2008 Tour de France, and it's hard to argue with that kind of kudos. "We don’t like to talk about weights, as many other manufacturers have made a mockery of it with outlandish claims", say Cervélo. "If weight is important to you, ignore claimed weights, and weigh the frames and see how light the R3-SL is compared to its competitors in the real world." Fighting talk indeed: what we do know is that when we tested the R3-SL kitted with Dura Ace 7900, it tipped the scales at a feathery 14.9lb - light enough? The R3-SL uses Cervélo's Squoval down tube and a massively oversived bottom bracket for superb stiffness for its weight. The slightly beefier R3 is a two-time Paris-Roub

    18.2lbs here

Frameset = frame + uncut fork, usually. I think headset is excluded.

There are other measures used, like "module" "weight" in the case of ISP frames.

Steering tube weighs ~ 0.27g per mm.

Is that for the entire framset i.e. frame, forks and seat post, surely not?

No, "frame only" means "only the frame". :)

You can easily find the weight for forks and seatpost - these tend to be less obfuscated. See the weightweenie thread I linked to, for instance.

FWIW, I wouldn't base a P2 buying decision on how much the frame weighed. It's light enough. If you're going up and down mountains I imagine you'd use a different bike.

Not basing decision on how much it weighs, just interested, that's all.
