Wish the feckers would reprint the "Lost A Wheel" shirt, it's a brillliant Christmas t-shirt. I ordered it a couple of years ago but they sent me the wrong shirt and then had no stock left to replace it with. Have requested it a few times, but been left waiting ever since :(

You mean 6am? (edit: seeing as sale begins at 12:01am CST)

    http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_time_difference_between_CST_and_GMT

"CST is 5 hrs behind GMT during Daylight Saving and 6 hrs behind otherwise"

So it starts at 6am tomorrow 27th Nov?

    Yes.

12am CST is 12 midnight CST and we are 6 hours ahead of that so the sale starts at 6 in the morning here.

    It would seem so.

I ordered a cuss load when they had the free delivery sale a few weeks ago and got charged €33 by customs. Kinda defeated the purpose.

You're safe at 3 shirts and under normally.

It's 22euro including delivery is the cut off.

If you go over that, or they think you might be over that then they "hold it" for you until you give them an invoice showing exactly how much it was.

They then charge a 6euro handling fee and the vat. Not sure if there's an import duty too? Don't think there is.

So i'm pretty sure the max you can order to make sure you avoid the customs is two t-shirts. Of course you could get more in seperate deliveries.

They would be around a tener a t-shirt if you did it that way

There was either a full thread or a mention in a thread about customs recently... As they seem to have stepped up their operation and fewer packages are coming in now which don't get stopped.

Lads do you know how the sizes are? I'm usualyy L XL Here. What is that in a Threadless Tshirt?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,890 ✭✭✭Effluo

People have said that S & M & L are usually the same, but i never saw anything on XL. It'd prob be fine though

I've found them to always be a bit smaller tbh
Any of the larges I've got from them have been a halfway between a medium and large from over here.

If you choose to send as a Gift does it mean you can get it past customs without any possible extra cost if it comes to more than €22?

The Gift Options text on the website states:
The billing information does not appear on the invoice included in the package when an order is being sent as a gift.

    Guys,

What is the shipping fee if i want Threadless to deliver do Dublin.

Does it matter if you order 1 or 2 T-shirts?

    Cheers

Not necessarily. They can still stop packages marked as gift and charge import taxes on it unfortunately. Customs will estimate the cost if no indication of cost is included.

Put what you want in the basket,go to checkout and fill your address in and you'll get the delivery charge for your order then.

I think delivery for 2 costs the same as delivery for 1 shirt but it's more expensive as you add extra shirts after that. It's around $10 delivery for 2.

bought a t shirt recently from play, xl and measured the width from just under the armpit across (23") and compared to the threadless american apparel size chart which gives XL as 24" so hopefully that will be ok for me. If not will be regifting to the brothers in law!
