I've been Drooling over some various Pistol grips
the last few days, Wondering where people buy
    theirs from?

Anyone know any online store that stocks
    Thuya Burl Grips for a 1911 ?
I've fallen in love with this type of wood.
(The deep orange with dark eyes rather than the more creamy stuff)

Was also gonna order a set of grips with my handle/username
on them as the custom grip guys do up to 7 letters.

    Been viewing the following webpages:
    http://www.1911pistolgrips.com/wood.php
    http://www.customkillergrips.com/
    http://raascogrips.com/

Have you considered talking to Joker? He customises grips and makes his own, so it might be worth getting in touch to discuss trade secrets, perhaps order from him, or even find out where to start.

I seem to remember FireKitten linking to a site filled with 1911 grips. I'll try dig it out for you

    Thanks!

Steve from SE airsoft is getting me a bling bling gold
m1911, so am on a pimping exercise, and also plan
on getting a Chrome version in the future and changing the
grips on my black WE 1911......all future things to do, but its
handy to know in advance what your options are.

I've been digging but can't for the life of me find it. I remember people saying search on eBay as real grips can be used. Worth considering :)

There is HUGE price differences between the different sites
for the same Wood! Some places are selling Exotic wood Grips for
as little as 45USD others 100USD and others for 150USD.
For more or less the same products

This is the Look I am after:

Looking at ebay there's a ****eload of grips for sale in Ireland that look very much like the jokers one for quite cheap prices.

Anyway these ones are bit different? http://cgi.ebay.ie/COLT-1911-KIMBER-GENUINE-STAG-GRIPS_W0QQitemZ270491210349QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3efa88526d

I hope to get a set myself, but ebay rarely ships grips outside of the US.
