Hi. I have been thinking about getting an XBOX 360 to play some of the games not available on the PS3 but see there's an Elite, Arcade and so on.

What is the main differences between them and are the advantages worth the extra cost?

    Thanks.

Elite has 120g hard drive and is black, arcade has no hard drive and comes with 5 arcade games , id personally go for the standard xbox360 with the 60g hard drive more than enough space and they all run on the jasper chipset now
    so no rrod worries

All the 60gbs are long gone, haven't seen one in a shop for a few months now.

Go for the Elite, they all use the new chipset now. Once its in the new white and silver packaging and not the old black packaging you can be sure you are getting a new model.

You will need a hard drive, and its more expensive to buy an Arcade and then a hard drive later on.
