JSA- Am i getting too much? how much do u get?

    Hello!

    Have just received my third JSA cheque and they have all been for 172.30.

    I work 12 hours a wk (2 maybe 3 days)

    Is this right? Two of my friends have been getting round 80 a wk on JSA (they live at home i don't)

    I did apply for emergency supplements and got a cheque for 240, I asked the lady was that a once off and she didn't know?!?!

    Could any1 tell me how much they get for JSA?

    The full amount of jobseekers is 204 a week for one adult. I take it your just claiming for yourself? not a wife or child also?
    Your obviously on a reduced amount as your working. Your only working 12 hrs so 174 seems around right to me.
    Maybe someone who is working part time will give you an idea of what they are on.

    Yea i'm just claiming for myself, no children/partner etc.

    I was under the impression that the dole (JSB) was 204 max and JSA was 130 max???

    I'm not complaining of course I just want to make sure all is above board!

    JSB and full JSA are for the same amount - Euro 204.30, with JSA only being means tested.
