Got letter saying jobseeker's benefit has been authorised

    Got letter but i've two questions, it says on the letter "You will be paid by postdraft at _________ post office" will i be able to cash the postdraft at the post office or has it to lodged in a bank account (i closed my bank account weeks ago). Secondly i have my white SWS (plastic card) but i have it for over ten years and its been through alot, is it possible it won't work for me or should i have up dated it? Thanks for anyone's help

    Go in to their office and see if the card work. If not, ask them to issue a new card.

    I wonder if post draft means the electronic funds transfer system to the post office. Your local PO will know.

    Thanks victor you could be right about the postdraft would make sense, not close to my local post office right now but should make it in before it closes
