Any opinions about them? I was thinking about joining them or one of the British humanist associations.. They host monthly meetings in Dublin and Galway, have their own magazine and publications etc..

I have a friend who is a member. They seem like a good bunch of people. However I get the impression that they are reluctant to expand there numbers drastically, this is evident when you think that Atheist Ireland has a similar membership and is the same size if not bigger. They recently setup the Galway one in NUIG.

    I don't follow...

Why would they not want people joining up? Their membership page seems pretty straightforward. I can understand why they want to be different to AI, but for any organisation that lobbies government - higher membership numbers are a good thing.

Ya its confusing to me too, but I'm just echoing my friends opinion. I wanted to join but I thought it was strange that it was only up in Dublin at the time.
