Snow is fantastic :D. I love making one giant ball of snow by rolling it around and seeing it getting bigger. Not a snowman, just one GIANT ball :D

I'm living in Canada, so lots of snow here! :D

Unfortunately none in Vancouver at the moment, but if the weathers nice at the weekend I'll head north to the mountains and throw a few snowballs around!

    Serious question here.

My mams bro was over for a visit to Ireland, he lived in Ontario.

He was freezing here, we had snow and he said the snow in Ontario was warmer than in Ireland.

    Is that true?:pac:

Hmmm.... interesting question! I haven't experienced any snow over here in Canada yet, but when I do I will report my findings post-haste!

Thats down to what is called "Dry Cold". What makes Ireland so cold is that our Humidity is very high, lots of moisture in the air to stick to you and conduct the cold to your skin. Further north there is less moisture in the air, less water to make you cold.

I was in the Artic circle in northern Finland a few years ago, the thermometer said -40 celsius, but you could easily walk around in a T-Shirt, until your lungs froze!

I love snow, stupid gulf stream ruining it for everyone...

It's weird to be talking about snow. We had blazing sunshine here today. I was roasting.

    I prefer snow though :)

I love skiing and going for walks all bundled up on ski gear and breaking ice on ponds with rocks and then going in for a hot chocolate - with rum. It doesn't get much better than that. I really am more of a winter person :)

    Same here Watna :)

Currently living in Spain and still getting to go to the beach after work, but the heat can get a bit toooooo much ;)

Would be great if there was a bit of snow when back in Dublin at xmass, I actually miss the cold too  :o

Our lil local makes it snow on christmas eve. Annual tradition now - they cover the whole place in snow & every few minutes snow falls from the sky - its really really lovely & makes up for the lack of it in Ireland.

Snow when you're in college is the best craic!

We had to defend our house against a group of 10-year olds who decided it'd be fun to attack it.So we called for back up.Cue about 20 students versus 8 kids in an epic snowball fight. We won by default because they had to go home for their dinner.:D

This year my boyfriend's promised we'll go up the Dublin mountains if it snows.Fingers crossed..

It snowed here in Bern on Monday. We're expecting more tomorrow. The old town was really beautiful & the view of the Alps this morning was spectacular.

Not my pic, but something to give you an idea what it is like here when it snows...

In February of 1967, the midwestern USA - Chicago, Detroit, Toledo, to New England - received a few inches of snow:

Everything was shut down for more than one week...even school!

Man, I'd love to get snowed in. Just for a few days so I'd have to hide in the house all cosy but I'd have loads of food and books to read and films to watch and things.

    It sounds like heaven!

We've had four consecutive days of sunshine here in London but now We've got snow and it looks as though it'll stay for a few days and not turn to slush after 12 hours.
