Killzone 2 double XP weekend

    Killzone 2 will be activating double XP on all multiplayer games from November 27th to November 30th.

    In addition to double XP, Guerrilla will host a Killzone 2 "retro tournament" using only the Beach Head and Southern Hills maps from the second DLC pack, both remakes of Killzone 1 maps.

    Guerrilla plans to slash the price of two bits of content. As of today, Flash & Thunder should be listed at $2.99 while the Map Pack Bundle is to be $9.99.

    If you don't have the DLC yet and don't want to drop "money" on it you'll want to check out

    the game is a bit old but this may get me some trophies, if the numbers playing are down due to mw2

    Inspired by the news going online I went onto PSN to play a bit of Killzone this evening, a nice break from MW2. Still packed with games going on. Great fun! One of the best shooters consoles has really had in years.

    I still think they should tweak the controls to make it a little more accessible but at least the difficulty curve keeps out the kids...

    KZ 2 rules, don't think its getting all the attention it deserves, I wonder how many top tens it will be in at the end of Dec?

    Definitely will be in mine. By far my favourite shooter of the year, it's only pipped at the post by Uncharted 2 as my fav. PS3 game

    One of my favourite online shooters of the year. Great variety of character classes and team based play needed to fully enjoy this game.

    if you have a week off, i rented infamous and finished the story both ways good/evil got 99% completion and 93% of trophies, i didn't do some of the side quest on my evil run so hadn't all the evil abilities or all the stunts, needed to knock 3 guy off a building to get the last one
