Poker Night Sponsorship

    Hi

    My mate is setting up poker nights around the city, mainly pub games.

    How would he go about getting sponsorship for these nights? What's the liklihood of him getting a company to sponsor the night(s)?

    I have to agree with the above post unless you are bringing in big crowds you might get poker tables and chips from one of the main bookies that have poker sites

    With the down turn on you would have very little chance and a lot of games have gone trough the way side in pubs we have 105 pubs going across ireland numbers are good a lot of time and effort has gone in to this. I Wish you the best in this venture buy small at the start and see how you go.

    he will do well to break this market especially without having any contacts. maynooth would be a decent place with enough advertising for a weekly pub game, i think caulfields game is gone.
