Shipping a bike to Switzerland by courier

From searching other related posts, most people appear to have gone with the airline (or were shipping to or from the UK).

I'm going over to Zurich for IM Switzerland in July and need to bring my bike. I just rang Aer Lingus to book the but there's already 6 bikes booked on so I won't able to bring it on the flight over. Does anyone have experience shipping a bike to Europe with a currier? Which did you go with and at what cost? The only two options I can think of now are booking a different flight, or shipping it by currier to the hotel.

    Thanks,
    Conor.

When I moved to Zürich I used the train all the way, an alternative would be to fly to Paris and from there get the TGV or Mulhouse, Geneva, Bern, or Friedrichsaven is also very close.

Or find out about other people doing that IM by asking at clubs etc. I know a club that shipped 6 bikes over and spare wheels etc by DHL not sure on cost but would prob be cheaper grouping together!
