    Have you looked at www.getawayweddingcars.com?

We've booked a 1930 Packard Presidential for our wedding. (It's the brown/beige car on the site.

Although they're in County Galway so I'm not sure how that'll work for you?

    Thanks,
thats a lovely car but was thinking more in the lines of 1950s-60s rockabilly Motors like Mustangs, Chevrolet and Cadillacs.
Can't seem to find someone who hires them anywhere online.
Anyone know someone who has something like this and that do weddings?
    Thanks..

No bother. Thought you meant the really old vintage ones.

An old Mustang would be the business. I had played with the idea of renting something similar if possible, but think they're very rare:mad:

Post up if you find anything anyway:)

Such a pity standard vintage insurance can't cover the odd rental, this is sitting in my driveway only dying to be shown off :)

You could try contacting The Midlands American Auto Club, www.maac-ireland.com

Some of the cars on this site are available in ROI:

The Starcars cars are unlicensed and uninsured for wedding hire. Also NI reg cars cannot be use for hire in the Republic.

getting married in october and we decided that instead of some fella driving us to and from the church we are going to rent a nice car and keep it for a couple of days and return it to the airport drop off when we are leaving to go on our hooney moon.. the onnly problem there seems to be a lack of car rental places that actually do "nice" cars for hire..they all seem to be nissan toyota's etc etc all the standard rental car's.. we were thinking of a range rover nice bmw or merc.. does any one know any site that offers this service ..not that its a money saving tip but at least i feel im getting something out of it having to drive a nice car!!

They can get around this by charging you to have the car at your venue for photographs. They don't have to charge you for the lift to the venue if you know what I mean.
