Registration of kit cars

    Does anyone know what the procedure is with importing a kit car that is not built.How do you go about getting it registered when built.
    Is it liable to vrt or not.If you use a single donor car do you get to use that registration,or are you assigned a new reg and if so is it possible to get an age related plate.
    Has anyone imported a fully built and registered kit car,if so how was the vrt calculated on it.
