Redundancy Entitlements

It looks like the company I am working in is shutting up shop, I have been full time employed there for 18 months.

From what I can gather on the citizens information site, I am only entitled to redundancy payments if I have been there for two full years.

Is this correct? Or am I entitled to something?

That is correct, you have no entitlement for redundancy payments and are only entitled to have your remaining holidays etc. paid out.

As Nody says you've got no legal entitlement to a redundancy payment. Hard luck.
