You can imagine my horror when i compared green isle pizza with goodfelas delicia. goodfellas had 17% mozzarella cheese.
green isle had 10 percent cheese flavour analogue. what in hell is cheese flavour analogue and am i gonna die of a clogged artery tonight?

    Brian.

LOL! Yes, I remember seeing that on those cheapie Dunnes mini-pizzas. It was just a white box with black writing 'Pizza with tomato flavour and analogue cheese flavour'.

I was impressed with their upfront honesty, not like those 'cheese' singles that are like 17% actual cheese.

I was just gonna say if you think that's bad go have a look at some cheese slices :p "Cheese Food Slices" or just "Singles", no mention of cheese at all!!

I was in new york and was finally sick of all the junk food, went to a supermarket looking for a normal roll & cheese. All the bread was this sweet white processed muck, BB date months away, and the only cheese there was in a spray can!

I saw the green isle one before, I think it lists what the stuff is further down.

I dunno, it's weird, even their recipes for bread have sugar in them. Plus white butter WTF?

It's a shocking statistic that the average consumption of high-fructose corn syrup in the US used to be 0.5lb per person per year, now it's 60lb! So I think they pretty much stick it in everything.

Sourdough was the only bread (when I used to eat it) that I found in any way bearable while in the States. Sourdough with the centre taken out and filled with seafood chowder on the dock in Monterey, CA. YUM.
