101, 102 on Sky is BBC1 & BBC2 etc?

Long story short I signed back up with sky after I lost my box and card 3 months ago whilst moving. So in the new house was a sky box so I said feck it I'll rejoin and the new card arrived today.

Firstly it'll take 24 hours to authorise as the new card and the box already in the house have to be matched or something via serial numbers etc.

But the weird thing is now when I go through the guide 101-104 is BBC1, 2, ITV and Channel Four? As if I was living in England. I rang up and the girl hadn't a clue!?

Any ideas cause I'm lost?

Give it a few days and you should be ok. If not then give them a call again, it's a common problem.

That has nothing about BBC? He cant access RTE on his Sky, my problem is I dont even have RTE.

That's happend to me a couple of times. Lost RTE,TV3,TG4 and all Setanta's. You should plug out the box for 5 mins and plug it back it. You should have them back

Yes, but its only half my problem. I dont get this "this programme is not available" message.

That guy has RTE but cant access it. I dont have RTE at all and have BBC instead as if I was viewing in the UK.

Where does he mention that?

rte should be on 101,102 etc, (if you have a ROI sub)

but his problem was he had bbc1,bbc2, on 101,102. same as you ..

I just got it sorted, I rang up again cause I was getting tick not having my TV, the guy sent 2 signals and fixed it in 5 seconds unlike the girl earlier who hadnt a clue what I was talking about.

Their customer care service is getting very bad lately.

I didn't read the link but it sounds like a software upgrade was required - unplug the power, reconnect while holding down the 'back up' button on the box and wait for the screen.
