    Hi folks,

Recently bought an 00 reg Seat Ibiza. At the moment, the heater is controlled by what looks like a manual over-ride switch which is situated where the knob for air flow direction should be. All that is displayed on the LCD screen is "OFF". The fan controls, and the hot/cold controls do not work either.

At the moment, all I'm getting is fan strength 5 and hot air, very annoying on these mornings especially

Has anyone got an idea of the extent of the problem and how much I'd be looking at to get it fixed?

Cheers in advance for any replies,

    Cul. :)

This is a really common fault on the Ibiza, so much so that you'll find it hard to get one from a scrapyard. You're looking at €400 from a dealer if I remember correctly.
