My Wii has stopped reading disks. When I put in a disk the drive makes a noise like its scratching the disk, then I get a message saying that the disk can't be read and to turn of the power and eject the disk.

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

And does anyone know of anywhere where I can get it repaired?

    Thanks

There as nothin on nintendos website about repairs outside the U.S so I decided to ask here to see if anyone had. Sort of obvious that I would have tried nintendo first.

I rang Nintendo about an hour ago anyway and they're goin to send me out a pack so I can post the Wii of to them to get it repaired.

My wii stoped reading discs a while back.
I got a leaflet at the Game counter which had the contact details etc. for the official Nintendo repairs. They send out a sticker which you fix to your boxed wii, send it off and they call you back informing you of the problem, how much it will be to fix it, and if you want them to proceed.
It cost me €27, I got it back within 2 weeks and it works perfectly. Would highly recommend them....

There is no way a repair service would match the €27 for nintendos quoted above, I would go with that.

Using unofficial repairers wouldn't be advised until your Wii is out of warranty anyways ;)
