The North Dublin Community Gospel Choir was formed on 16th June 2009, a mere 6 months ago, and has already competed at the Sligo International Choral Festival earning a 2nd and a 3rd place in the competitions into which it was entered.
The musical director, Jonathan, over the last 7 years has had an awarding gospel choir which won many awards in the aims choral festival and navan choral festival on 4 different occasions and have been on RTE nationwide.

We are still looking for new members particularly male singers as they are far outnumbered at the moment tongue.gif. Previous experience is not necessary, enjoyment of music is essential :) Members must be 16 and over
We practice every Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m in St. Paul's Church Ayrfield, just off the Malahide Rd (near Tesco's Clarehall)
The choir has been formed to reach out to the community and to be fun and lively. So anyone up for a challenge and wants to get involved who can sing or who can play an instrument please give it a go. Its absolutely great craic and honestly brightens up your week. Thank you for the replies so far,
Any queries please contact Jonathan at northdublingospelchoir@hotmail.com

What type of repertoire will you be performing (as in pieces/composers)?

Another update guys, we are still looking for male singers as we do sing in 4 part harmony and need to build up this section particularly.

We now have a website where you can learn more information about the choir, contact details and find list of upcoming events. Here's the link
