Trying to organise a 30th birthday coming up soon... 2 venues in mind (eaten lunch in both), either Aubars or The Bailey.

Bin lookin for info here but not much available. Anyone any thoughts on either of them? New to the limerick goin out scene.

    Hey,
What night are you planning this party? If its a Friday night either place would be OK, however if its a Saturday night, then your probably better off in Bailey's bar. Reason being is that Aubars gets fairly packed and their "private" bar is actually open to the masses as it is just off the smoking area/front of the bar. I believe Bailey has a private upstairs room. Wherever you pick, have a good night!

Ask a simple question and get 3 different answers!

The OP asked about Aubars or The Bailey only. I wonder do people even read the questions asked?

cmon now thats a silly question. course they dont:D

lol you do have a good point though so good on ya

as mentioed above aubars woulkd be pretty busy on the weekend. the bailey has a wonderful space upstairs with the function room. and they are only around the corner from icon and trinity rooms(in the middle of both really.aubars aint far from them either but aubars do have their own club downstirs so could be handy and if you wanted costeloes is closer to aubars.

alot depends on what day of the week your looking at and when it is(date month). close to christmas is hard because christmas bookings will make things harder.

if you give small bit more detail as in when and what type of music you guys are looking for and about how many people then maybe we could give you a hand with other suggestions.

either way have a good one mate and best of luck

    Thanks for the help everyone!

To help we're looking at end of January, weekend preferably, and in terms of music we don't mind, just as long as there's something playin! and it aint the spoons :)

I had bin thinkin about the fact that aubars seemed to have the whole package with the club included, does anyone know what this club is like?
