    Loads are very good looking and well built, they are funny and not as emotionally inept as some people like to make out.

    The title of the thread and it's contents are a stereotype.. Whether its true or not, it's impossible to answer such a question.

    I am attracted to my OH because I like him physically, he's a good person and is great fun. It has nothing to do with him being Irish. The one thing that I do like about being with an Irish person is the fact that he gets the 'ah bejaysis' sense of humour.

    But besides that.. There are a lot of Irish men that are total twats. Just like any other nationality.

    So I can say why I like my OH but really, him being Irish has nothing to do with it.

    My northern accent has got me plenty of compliments over the years. That is on the rare occasions when I pluck up the courage and actually speak to strangers :D

    Co-sign. You could have titled this thread "Why Irish women are attracted to Irish men".

    That said, it's interesting that there is a concurrent thread titled "Why do Irish men find Irish women so unattractive". :(
